5 points in either way and all of us could have been right.

Regarding the close games: There have been plenty in the BS this year, and it seems there usually are. Flames 2-3 in OT,
which seems fair, if you figure that two teams who are tied in regulation have been equal that night, and then figure you
might go 50-50 in OT's vs an equal team. In close games, they've won their share, which is actually admirable for what we call a "young team" (it could be worse, and they deserve credit for that.)

It is what it is, they deserve a fair amount of props for what they have done, and there are two more opportunities
before the tourney. If they win both (and they could) then it would be considered quite a successfull regular season, IMO.
I still believe that this team is as talented up and down as any, with the disclaimer of "they need their new combo to
be a total 'big man/5'."

I understand that its a crapshoot picking these numbers with the way games go here. But at one point we were 1-3 and playing inconsistent on the road and predicting that isnt terrible. Is the dude a tard? Certainly. But Picking 9-9 isnt completly farfetched.

I dont think that LU going 9-9 itself at that point was farfetched and the reason I called him an LU hating moron...the driving force there is the fact that unlike you, he apparently cant find it in himself to give credit where its due. This team is playing very well right now and there are those who still cant find it in themselves to offer up a positive word about what Coach McKay is doing (partly because they still hold onto visions of the past)
