The print screen function is your friend. How do you think I got the ones in my signature?

OK, when is Jesse getting his own fan club?

Enter Sandmen.

One thing you can say about Jesse. He doesn't let anything like a thundering rejection shy him away from laying it up there. Heck, apparently he doesn't let 2 or 3 of those shy him away.

Whats even better is after talking to this kid a number of times, I dont see him changing...I see him being humble throughout his college career...how great would that be...

He is fun to watch and definitely scrappy and Gritty (see Below  ).

I'll head up the fan Club.

With all due respect, doesn't Sly get first dibs on that, since they're both Texans & both from Houston?

Since I will get to more of his brother's games than Jesse's this season, I will gladly yield to a Lynchburger.

If Jesse isn't diving on the floor and banging around the rim for loose balls, we don't win last night. There were probably 6-7 times where GMU should have had an easy rebound or loose ball, and Jesse extends the posession for Liberty.

He fills up the box score more quietly than anyone I've ever seen.

Its things you cant chart either...I'd venture to say we dont win 2 or 3 games without that kid

Yeah, he's really way more than I was expecting from him. But on that same note, he's become very important and needs to learn to play a little smarter when it comes to fouling. We can't have him fouling out or even really letting fouls limiting his floor time. I guess you just have to keep reminding yourself that he's a freshman. It's hard to remember.

It was kind of odd last night. I actually thought it wasn't a great night for Jesse. Then I looked at the stat sheet and it looked a lot better.

I think that Jesse's hustle is starting to rub off on some of the other guys. I swear I saw Kyle do a flying save twice last night in the second half (the first time didnt work).

The second one was amazing, as he was a mile out of bounds

I have to disagree with you a little here Luconn. He played with 4 fouls for 10 game minutes or so last night. He needs to stay agressive. He wouldn't get half the rebounds he gets if he didn't play that way. When he had 4 fouls he was selective with his extra effort plays. I think he and Curry are miles ahead of most freshmen in terms of basketball IQ.

Here's a big compliment to Jesse, from a computer pumping out stats:

kenpom.com has a ton of different stats, one of which is Offensive Rating... which is described by him as :
Offensive rating (ORtg): A measure of personal offensive efficiency developed by Dean Oliver. The formula is very complicated, but accurate. For a detailed explanation, buy Basketball on Paper. Anything over 110 is good, and 120 is excellent for a player that is the workhorse on his team. The best I saw from last season was Utah State’s Spencer Nelson at 133
http://kenpom.com/blog/index.php/weblog ... ual_stats/

Well, Jesse clocks in at a 121.0, which is a nice big number, and as kenpom would describe it, it's "excellent". He is the 171st best player in the country in that statistical category.

Jesse with the triple double last night as everyone knows: 10, 10, 10. But I like his TO # the best: 0.

its amazing with the way Jesse plays that he doesn't turn the ball over more then he does...every game he does things out there that i just don't understand how he can do them....he is going to be a great asset for this team for the next 3 years....
