I hope to see him back in an LU uniform next year!

Personal issues aside, He was perhaps our best on ball defender, and no doubt a great rebounder, and a pretty good shooter (when he was allowed :doh , first half of the season).

We would, IMHO, all things considered, be a better team with Brolin Floyd next year.

I'm gonna have to disagree with you on the defense part. When he wanted to play defense, he wasn't bad at it. He just didn't play it half the time.

At the top of our zone he was really good............... I would consider him our best, who would you say was better?

I also left out that he was a very good ball handler, and if coach Mc-betray would have had Brolin in the press break as TBGB always talks of, then we would not have folded against VMI........ IMHO.

After this post, I would estimate that MAYBE, if you work really hard at it for about a year or so, you may regain a shred of credability where basketball is concerned.

Did you watch the first VMI game at their place?

I am sure that anyone who was there will tell you that Brolin was really good at helping us break that press.

my credibility with you is not of my greatest concern, and if you really wanna "e fight" about my basketball credibility, then i give in....... You win.

I wasn't at the first VMI game, but I saw enough of Brolin's Roberto Duran hands in other games to know he is very limited as a ball handler. He has potential because of his athleticism, but his skills with the ball need a lot of work.

Brolin was very influential in the press break in the first VMI game. I have no clue what happened the last two games against them.

As for his defense, he would go in spurts. There were times where he was very active at the top of the 1-3-1 and then there were times where he wasn't at all.

Put it this way, Brolin has a crap ton of potential if he can ever get it to click. If he comes back, great. If he doesn't, good luck wherever you go.

He can't catch, but he definitely helped in our press break at VMI. You cannot deny that.

He did have a problem catching but I was talking about his press breaking abilities, and ball handling (which involves him already having the ball) He could have helped in the second VMI game if he was in the back court against their press.

Please tell me you know this for sure! I really liked this kid and I think that in the long run he could be a special player at LU. That is with the right coaching :D

Do we even have a scholarship available if he decides to come back?

(TTL, can you update that Excel table? I'd like to see the full picture of our roster...)

At this point there's a lot of speculation as to who is doing what, but I can try to give the worst case scenario roster...

 this can be funny:

Joel Vander Pol
Kyle Ohman
David Minaya
Patrick Konan

After that, good luck.

So, to answer your question Ed, yes we have a scholly available.

How long's it going to take for you people to realize that it doesn't matter what you're hearing until it's actually published? HMO changes what he's hearing more than I change underwear. Everyone else is just throwing out every random rumor they hear. It's completely pointless to worry about this stuff until it comes out. But if you really wanna worry about it, stop asking me cause I don't care.

I'm not changing anything, I'm simply saying that he's not sold one way or the other...so one person could hear him talk and think he's leaving and another could hear him talk and think he's coming back.

Dont forget, unlike you I will admit when I'm wrong.

That wasn't a shot at you. It was saying that you're likely hearing a ton of things.

And the fact that you say I won't admit I'm wrong is laughable.

That's what I was getting at. There's so much going on, and so many rumors, that it's pointless to post everything.
