BJ, some good thoughts, but if you can't coach, the least you can do is be a good cheerleader. I think we are already seeing the benefits of a better coaching staff and will for some years to come. I just hope as a fan base we don't have higher expectations than we should this early. Yes we are better, but we have very little depth and a long season ahead. GO FLAMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Last years team would have probably have won the league with TJ in place. And if we can't recognize the talent level that would have been in place this year without a change then it is the Iowa caucus. Rd has proven that he can coach. His passion for LU and the program got alot of us in the community on board or we would never be associated with LU athletics.
Yes and this years team with Larry Blair would have too, and if DB didnt had financial stability then yes this years team would play well. Theres nothing you can do about graduating /transfer stuff so what does that have to do with anything? Its a dumb point. To be honest with you i know of more people who refused to go to a MBB game because of RD then people who went to every game.
Checkmate I know youre trying to be positive, but can you please make a couple posts without referring to him and his glory? It's over, and weve talked WAY TO MUCH about RD and his departure. No one here respects him, whether it be because he showed up as LUreal and told us about how he is a top class coach, or because of how former players felt about him, or because he told fans to Saint The Francis Up during a game. Its probably tough being in the position you are, but here is not the place to bring that up again, weve spent too many pages talking about something that ended in February.
