Hey guys - I was one of the few Winthrop fans at the game. I felt it was necessary to come over here to compliment your fans and your team on a job well done.

Saturday was my first visit to the Vines Center, leaving Cameron Hall as the only BSC venue that I have not visited. Apart from Winthrop 2007-2008 (when we could actually fill a student section, much less an arena) you guys have the best atmosphere I've seen in the Big South - and that was with a ton of empty seats. Major props to your student section, I wish Winthrop could muster that kind of support.

Furthermore, as my friends and I were walking back to our car, a group of LU fans rolled down their window and said "It was pleasant having you here, you guys have a safe trip home." I was floored - I've been actively challenged to a fight 3 times walking out of the gym in Asheville, twice leaving High Point, and was just short of assaulted leaving Radford.

The only negative experience I had at Liberty was the Winthrop loss - otherwise, I had a great time in a great atmosphere watching a great game. I had a great time and will definitely be back, hopefully to watch WU come away with the win...
