I would love to see Johnny Back at LU under the coach that brought him here....................I was not a huge fan of him last year, but he like many other players under Mckay, were limited in their play making abilities with restrictions and rules, like not being able to shoot, or GET THE BALL TO SETH.

I hope he is back next year.

Johnny has been reinstated by Coach Layer. He is no longer transfering and will play a vital role for the team next year.

Unless he's improved no less than 500%, if he plays a vital role we're in a heap of trouble. He really did not play good last year. When he played.

That was because he was held back by McKay, he could be a great role player for us. He stepped up in some games and hit some shots and he is so fast. he will help us

I agree 100% - Stephene is better than it showed last year. He played with no confidence - he will be a great player. Glad to see this happen.

If Johnny plays a vital role, we finish in 6th or 7th in the conference. I hope we're better than that.

Roger - do you remember a small guard that played for Winthrop? No reason Johnny couldn't be that type of player. He's got talent, a quick first step and can shot - he'll be alright to backup point. How do you think is better?

Jesse Sanders is our PG and will play at least 32 minutes a game at that position. That leaves only 8 minutes (tops) of time needed from someone else to spare him. I think Johnny can be that guy. At the beginning of the season last year, when he played with confidence, Johnny was a good change of speed from Jesse.

If that is a "Key Role" I am 100% OK with that. He is way to spastic, sporatic, and unconfident for much more. Talented, yes.

I think you will see a different player with McKay gone... I think the team will be much better.

Not to sound like a broken record, but you're right, proto. He'll be better. Not a great contributor, though.

I will say this about Johnnie... The Kid is a GREAT change of pace guard for us that can get in there and push the ball, get to the rim and hit a few shots. We have all seen that he can do some great things with his confidence high and under Layer if he is given the green light to be the floor general, as he should being the PG, then he could do some great things. He could not just give Jesse an 8 minute break, but could give him the much needed longer breaks without giving up a lead when Conference play starts and fatigue sets in. We see what kind of factor fatigue can be every year with at least one team in the Conference. The change of pace guard is great for any team, the only thing Im worried about is how these wings will play with Legit post play and post touches. The game completely changes for them as opposed to what its been, but Jesse will drive and dish like he usually does and Johnny will push to turn every play to a fast break and probably beat the bigs down the floor... So I dont know.

You can, he's been working really hard, so has James, and Jesse of course is always working hard. The PG posistion is stacked

No offense to James, but I really hope we don't have to rely on him in key situations this year.

It can, plus he is consistintly good about practice, although it is just practice and not the game. Hard work+ improvements- Seth Curry= better Johnny
