This is seriously pathetic. King thanks for the effort but some on this board... refuse to let the past go. others think its their personal mission in life to slander the current coaching staff. I don't like mentioning names but CMII and Inthebeginning, you are trolls. you must have no social life whatsoever because you spend all your time trying to start crap in a futile attempt to make every one think that RD was a coaching god. He was good he helped lay the foundation for the current program and got us a ship in 2 years. after that it was time to move on. He did so should you.

tgbg man i know you got beef and i have talked with you personally about all of it and i'll say what i always do. you gotta let it go man. I know its not just you its others as well. Chris was doing his Job. and he does a heck of a good job at that. if you have beef with what was in that article go to anthony like SJ said its not Chris's job to promote LU its his job to report the news and like Chris stated what anthony said was news. Obviously anthony makes it clear that he didn't get along with RD. He's entitled to his opinion just like everyone else is.

In closing this really just needs to be let go. King was right. these internal arguments don't do us or our team any good whatsoever. so why can't it just be dropped? I know it might take a little self discipline and maybe a little forgivness but come on its not that hard. Give it a rest and be excited about this teams accomplishments. just my .2

I think “us regulars” are just as much to blame as “the others” because we keep replying to them. Let them come on here, and put their 2 cents in, and nobody say anything to them. They keep coming back because we keep responding.

I pretty much said that in grm's "Praying" thread.

It doesn't matter. Like I said to king, we're too easy to tick off.

good stuff....

I am just pondering the past...as alot of us like to look at the past....this is purely specualtion....

I thought about Ant Smith's comment in the paper...

My question would be this: is it possible that LB could have been the "individual" that AS was referring to and not necessarily RD... I understand RD brought him LB in as a freshmen. Maybe LB turned out to be a "poison" if I can use that term loosely. RD wanted to win just like we all want to win. He was able to get Brew hoping to raise the team, but it may have ruffled the "chemistry" or made it seem even more individualism.

I mean... it seemed like LB was very distant in his senior year and could it have been possible that when he graduated...things would have gotten better?

I think Anthony's numbers would have risen his junior and senior year under any coach. When Larry's touches graduated, it only would have made sense for his numbers to go up.

I never played college sports, but I transferred colleges for my reasons. It happens all the time. We have to remember, they are 18 -21 old people we are talking about. I dont think its bad that for what ever the reason, one decides "it was not meant to be" for their inital college of choice.

These are merely thoughts, no facts, and questions for feedback... that's all. I will sit back and read..

i doubt it...simply because in the media guide he says is best moment in basketball, or something along those lines, is getting a new coach...its pretty clear he didn't like RD for whatever reason

yeah yeah yeah and RD didn't appreciate anthony's disappearing act in big games or moments. So I am sure that the bar was set that you have more to give on both ends. As for the recruits the word on Eroupe is one more year at Three Rivers and then 3 at Wichita St...everybody says he is a lock to be a pro. would have looked great in Red white and blue. But I am confident the FF JB fan club will find something to trash him about as well. Greg Marshall says thanks.

Did I reply to his post? Did I say anything about his comments?

I made a comment of my own that was directed at everyone on the board. I didn't yell and scream and call him "Mrs. RD".

haha, sounds good enough. So how about Austin's "tip dunk"? I think it was goal-tending, but it was still sweet to see the big man "throw down" on someone.
