HPU, despite their failings in the conference tournament, has finished in 1st (or tied for 1st) in the regular season each of the last three years and is the only team that has somebody on their roster that made 1st or 2nd team all-conference last year (John Brown).

Second half Liberty won by 3 so we won overall but our guys was not happy and felt they should have beat team by 20. They said it seems they ran out of gas in second half. The coaches said our problem was not scoring but we needed to raise the intensity in our defense. They worked on that this week and will scrimmage American Univ. at home today. I'll let you know I it goes.
