Losing with class is important. I have sat in the Vines so embarassed by the way our coach and team fell apart during a loss. Looking like a sweaty tomatoe ready to explode. Thanks coach Layer for not doing that.
Exploding tomatoe ...I can actually picture that :D

Half full for sure. Can you imagine Gielo, Baird and Drew Smith in a year or two. Most BS bigs will not be able to handle them.

I agree that the rest of the league should not just sit on their hands, they also compete. BUT lets talk a little marketing investment, when you spend a lot of money on something in an investment, you want a return that will at least cover your cost, and or even make you some money. Liberty basketball is no different, our school invests large amounts of money on coaching salaries, facilities, recruiting and equipment and there needs to be a return (WINS). We are only seeing wins over NAIA and DIII schools and we have NOT made any kind of run into the big south, much less March madness in quite some time. I dont expect to win out in march but i do expect to be able to finish well among big south opponents

We were 13-5 in conference last year. We were a few CCU shenanigans away from taking 1st. I think that gets forgotten around here.

2007 - L first round, upset
2008 - L semi's to #1 seed
2009 - L semi's to #2 seed
2010 - L first round
2011 - L first round, upset
