I liked that, also, to see Flames stuff in the company of the other two big kids on the block.
Perhaps, just perhaps, that trifecta can become a Virginia version of the Research triangle in NC that also encompasses two state schools and a religious private (UNC, NC State, Duke) albeit some will conclude that Duke is more loosely Methodist these days.
A Central Virginia Region version of the NC Piedmont Region, if you will:
