This was in Chris' game notes from VMI but I thought it worked better as a separate topic:

LEXINGTON - Cedric Sanderson, Terry Adams, Danny Broggin and Terry Williams were some of the more highly regarded members of Liberty's 2006 recruiting class.
None of the four played a snap this season, but that isn't an indictment of their abilities. Instead, Liberty coach Danny Rocco had the luxury of redshirting all of them.
"The guys we have held out, they're making great progress," Rocco said. "They're getting bigger, getting stronger and getting acclimated to college life. For the most part, they're doing well in school. That's a big part of it."
Several freshmen made impacts this year, but they all played at positions where the Flames were extremely thin. Liberty needed Tim Torrence's contributions at cornerback, Trey Jacobs' play on the defensive line and Chris Rocco's help at safety.
"When it was all said and done, I think it's played out just about right," Danny Rocco said. "The guys that we played, we really have needed."
Rocco said ideally he would like to redshirt his entire 2007 recruiting class.
