It will be our time to shine. I have 0 doubt the stadium will look awesome on TV (Sell out?). Now to deliver the win ON the field. Lots of potential here if handled correctly

We cannot look past Charleston Southern which is the game the Saturday before this game. Coastal plays Kennesaw and probably can rest starters after halftime. The problem may be that folks who would normally come into the 'Burg for games (parents, alum, etc.) may not be able to make Thursday night, so we'll need every student, staff and faculty to show up to get to 20K. Nonetheless, the stadium should be electric and the game will be quite the spectacle both at the stadium and on TV.

If we can't fill the stadium for this fe we need to reevaluate #FBSREADY

Your out of town people won't be able to make it in so the Baptist side may be lighter but the student side will be jam packed. I'd love this game to be a Thursday night game every year.

This will help A LOT since that's right before Thanksgiving Break starts. For a Saturday game a lot of students will already be gone but since most of us will probably leave after convo on Friday, the student side SHOULD be packed out.

Crazy that we got this good of a deal. I got my season tickets this year, so I will be making arrangements to drive up Thursday around lunchtime (3hr drive), but I'm not sure about postgame. May need to get Friday morning off. Very excited for the primetime experience!

Out of town season ticket holders hate Thursday night games, Ill find a way though. I may end up with a couple extra club level seats. Friend of mine is dealing with two Thursday night App State games this season.

I'm sure the band kids will find some issue with the short week...even though itll be the last regular season performance

I mean more with their class and work schedules. Like I said, its the last regular season performance of the show so that won't be a problem...but there will be some logistical issue that will have to be worked out that they will take issue with

They've got three months to plan. They can get over it.

No. No we won't. We're to the point now where we have people driving hours from out of town for home games. Those people likely can't come to a mid-week game. Mid-week games are all about the local fans and students. They're usually a slightly smaller crowd, but the people that are there are people who actually care about the game.

I disagree. This is a 'special' thing. I know people who make the Thursday night treks to Blacksburg. Morgantown etc. if this was an every year occurAnce I'd agree with you. But not on this since it's the 'first time'. And like they say 'You always remember your first time....'

I think some more in town folks might actually come to be a part of it. Maybe. I don't know but either way it'll be a cool environment.

If there were a Gardner-Webb or Kennesaw State game, I would agree that out-of-towners wouldn't go to the trouble to get off work and make the drive. But this is a big deal and likely has playoff berth on the line. I'd expect folks to go out of their way to make this happen unless our season had already gone off the rails.

I think it's safe to say that the Playoff status will have a major factor on the enthusiasm of the game. If its live or die then I have a feeling all hands will be on deck and the days leading up to the game will have the campus on fire ready to come out. As a southeast PA resident, it would take some major shifting to get down for this. However, I would shoot myself if I missed a game winning field-goal block to send us into the Playoffs.

Either way, this is a cool change and I look forward to the exposure this brings, which is hopefully with a win.

Was at the 50 for that game... front row. All 200 of us, and we were deafening.
