The problem may be that folks who would normally come into the 'Burg for games (parents, alum, etc.) may not be able to make Thursday night, so we'll need every student, staff and faculty to show up to get to 20K. Nonetheless, the stadium should be electric and the game will be quite the spectacle both at the stadium and on TV.If we can't fill the stadium for this fe we need to reevaluate #FBSREADY

Like I said, its the last regular season performance of the show so that won't be a problem...but there will be some logistical issue that will have to be worked out that they will take issue withThey've got three months to plan. They can get over it.

Mid-week games are all about the local fans and students. They're usually a slightly smaller crowd, but the people that are there are people who actually care about the game.

This is a 'special' thing. I know people who make the Thursday night treks to Blacksburg. Morgantown etc. if this was an every year occurAnce I'd agree with you. But not on this since it's the 'first time'. And like they say 'You always remember your first time....'
