As we are approaching the Homecoming game this weekend I thought Id go through the media guide and I saw a list of single game rushing and passing totals so I figured, "Why not see who all has gone for at least 200 yards rushing or 300 yards passing or even 200 yards receiving"

Decry me for wasting time I should be spending in class but I thought this would be some interesting info to know since it seems that we could be looking at some real special performances this weekend

I hope you don't expect 200 yards rushing and 300 yards passing. We're not the 2001 St. Louis Rams. We could possibly get either one, but I doubt it.

Just looking at the rushing list makes you wonder how we could've lost some many games with those three awesome RBs (Dre, Eugene & Sam) on campus at the same time.

And the countdown to H-burg's Basso stories begins now.

Thoughts:

Dre Barnes was truely amazing. I can't believe how stacked we were at RB for a few years.

We have not had a [consistantly] good QB in a long time.

With the terrible defenses and horrible QB's we had it offset any advantage we had with those RB's

Not since Ben Anderson played for us about 8 years ago.

Biff did a good job for a very bad team. He was arguably the most polished QB and leader Karcher had in his time. Quite amazing from a guy who was an NFL QB and turned down a chance to be the QB coach for the Titans.

Biff was okay but inconsistent. Yes he did play for some terrible teams which didn't help his cause at all.

Did Ben even play for KK? I know that Ben played for Sam. Wasn't it Biff that KK inherited?
Sorry, just can't seem to read today. Got two posts combined

I agree. Biff was an excellent QB who took a real pounding week after week without complaining or getting gunshy. He was good on the long ball and could make those 5-10 yarders that all our opponets routinely make and we've been unable to since he left. If we'd had him the last two years our record would have been much different.

It is a shame that we have to waste such good talent but it happens all the time.

Ben Anderson did not play for KK. He was a senior when we had the 9-2 record under Sam R.

Oh no...I mean if both DO happen that would be intense...but I just have a feeling we could be in for a real special performance Saturday
