David Nasser giving support to Hugh Freeze as coach among other things. Looks like UT fans are getting frustrated thinking we could land him.

If he doesn't get LU job, I think he goes to Alabama.

Jesus disciples asked how many times should we forgive, seven? Jesus says seventy times seven.
Hugh Freeze went to his community group, pastor and wife and confessed his sin.
ONE YEAR LATER, news of his sin became public knowledge and he was fired. At that point he had already repented and asked forgiveness a year prior to the people he biblically was supposed to, his family and his faith family.
Forgiveness is the heart of God. Hugh did what he was supposed to biblically to seek forgiveness.
Remember what Jesus said to the woman caught in Adultery? She was dragged before Jesus, most likely naked, probably no more than 5 minutes removed from her sin. Jesus said what? Neither do I condemn you.
There is therefore now, no condemnation. That’s what makes the Gospel good news. That’s what makes it scandalous. Praise God for his great mercy.
Had Hugh not done those things and confessed before the news broke I may feel differently. But the man did it right before it became public and we shouldn’t condemn him either.

But, Repentance + Forgiveness ≠ Hire the Guy.

No matter where he goes and what he does there is pressure to win.

Will he be under more or less pressure to succeed at LU or an SEC school? Will he have a better support network at LU or an SEC school? No matter where he goes he’s going to have pressure. Why not put him in a position to succeed?
