I about flipped out when I saw the wall. I was leaving North Campus tonight after class and tried to see if the girl with me had a camera but she didn't. It's just one wall but it's still progress.
The far wall went up between 4pm and 5:30 pm last night. The near corner went up around 8:00 this morning. Don't know what they're waiting on right now. Maybe the contractors all took a break and went to convocation.
a lot of construction on campus tends to look like that. But it always seems to get done somehow. They must have Doozers come in at night and work. How many poeple here know what a doozer is? (no googling cheaters!)
*please disregard this post if dated before 2017 and accept my apologies*
They're back out there now. I'm sure the construction technique is fairly safe and all but it just looks so precarious. You couldn't pay me to be standing inside it right now.

I saw the construction crew working too while I was on my way to class. Hopefully they will meet the deadline which I don't think will happen for this season. But I don't mind being wrong if it is done before the start of the football season.
I've been told that an absolute best-case scenario has the occupation date in the last week of June but a more likely date is mid-October. Of course, w/ contractors and LU involved, I expect to see it finished sometime in February.

When I came on campus this morning, they had nearly the entire outer walls except for one or two slabs on the side closest to the ice center, and they were working on them then. So, all the outer walls should be up by today.
There up !!!!! I will have pics in a few mins... Talked to a construction worker and he said that they hope to have the thing completely done by mid-October, I check the calendar and O yeah, that's just in time for homecoming!!!!
Give credit to givemethemic for the pictures, I just uploaded them for him. He's not the brightest crayon in the box (as I type that from his computer).
All four walls are up and there were people working inside of it earlier.
