I think the best thing we have going for us is the fact that we are the Big South champs. Frankly I didn't expect to see CCU get in a year ago. But perhaps in the back (or front) of the committee's collective mind is that there are issues regarding playoff expansion looming. Maybe the committee uses the league championship as an unofficial auto bid so that when they are forced on the issue to expand or stand pat, they can tell the Big South that you guys are getting your champ in every year now without the auto bid so we don't need to expand. Yes I realize it is a stretch, but that is how the NCAA often works.

The more I size things up, the better I like our chances of getting in. They probably aren't 50-50 but they are close.

I think you can put Delaware in, just because of that crazy win over Navy. It's not a great FBS school, but it's a win none-the-less.

I would love to see a Delaware vs. Delaware State game, what a rivalry!

If there already weren't so many CAA schools in it, I wouldn't be surprised if 'Nova found a way to get in.

I was looking at alot of these schedules of the top 25 and teams above us in the polls with at large bids. The one thing I don't see is total conference domination and losses to good schools. There are alot of teams above us in the polls that have 3 losses, but to schools worse than what we lost too. So if we can get in, our best hope is great attendance numbers and our losses.

It's rather frustrating that half of these schools in the top 25 are there to begin with.

I get excited by folks like Sly's posts, but then I read this kind of stuff:
