I just saw the picture of the new bleachers with the connected backs...I likey!!!!

Is their any reason besides the separation of ticket class, for not doing this throughout the entire stadium. They could accomplish this with the Phase 2 construction! Besides, it would provide a pretty impressive visual display of Red throughout the entire stadium.

Just a thought!

How awesome would it be if we chanted "Give me" and "Liberty" during the pregame instead of "L" and "U" I'm not saying I don't like the LU because I do but I just think that would be awesome.

I really like the Toby Mac song. Of course, it is about running a race, but besides that, it might have some staying power.

Good bit of LU folks showed up in Kent! I personally expected the atmosphere to be better (even for an FCS opponent) and the stadium to be nicer. IMO the Bill get's a good bit louder, is far more aesthetically appealing, and we'll see next week how tailgating will be this year! I know Gillville will be bigger and better this year as well!

That stadium looked horrible, I hope it was better in person at least. How can a conference look at facilities like ours compared to that and not take us, it amazes me :dontgetit

Cider and his crew should be back for this year so that would be a good place to start. I don't know if sigmo7 tailgates but he could better answer that...as far as where to set up your own...? if you aren't a flames club member (or however you get a reserved spot along University Blvd) you probably could set up either over by the Ice Center or the baseball stadium

I plan on being there early and eating around 4ish. will be snacking all day since i get hungry from demolishing people in corn hole. hahaha

100% true bluedevil...

I watched the game in southeast PA with fellow Liberty followers and could not believe how empty the stadium was from the ESPN feed. It even looked as though the student side was less than full. Some one attending the game this week, please takes some pics and post here. I am interested to see just how dedicated our fans are and if the Bill gets filled.

I still say and will always say, we need the giant "Liberty Bell" in the end zone that gets hit by a giant mallet on 3rd down defensive stops. How awesome would that be. It could be such a focus for the defensive side of the flames game. Big 3rd down stops by the D = equals a giant hit from the mallet on the bell. Besides, you could have drawings etc...for the student or individuals who get to hit the bell. Just set up a mic next to the thing and let her ring through the speaker tower.

Are you reading this JFJR!!!

A couple years ago there was a chili cookoff one weekend and something else another I believe dealing with best tailgates. Anyone know if anything like that may be planned for this year?

To me the stadium was not the greatest looking, I said to my friend it looks like an oversized high school stadium, they announced they had a "record" of 7K from the student section. Still looked sort of empty and bland, and we the traveling fans seems to be cheering just as loud if not louder than their whole stadium, until they scored late in the game.

Just curious what people thought about the atmosphere at tonights game, and the whole day of tailgating? I thought the student side looked about as full as I can remember it being in the least 3 years, at least when the game began.

Well when the Chancellor basically has an entire floor for himself and guests, not necessarily a bad thing, and you have a waiting list for suites and you have more of a 'Press Closet' than press room you might need to look into that.

Been going to games for last 5 years, season ticket holder last two. Best atmosphere of any game I've been to. (IMHO) Stony Brook last season would be close though.
