You don't have to bring us up every time the crowd is mentioned.

If we can win against a ranked non-conference team at home, we make more progress towards winning the games that matter.Yes. If we want to seriously consider ourselves playoff caliber, then we have win games like this (preferably by a sizeable margin). This is not a game on the level of Lehigh, JMU, Coastal, or Richmond, but it is a game that we have to win.

What I will add though, is that while they're not the JMU, Lehigh, or Richmond type schools, if we win this game, we begin to get past the psyche of "we can't beat ranked teams from other conferences."

When we start playing strong schedules and winning against quality opponents, then we can start talking.bluejacket wrote:This is not a game on the level of Lehigh, JMU, Coastal, or Richmond, but it is a game that we have to win.I agree with all of this. If we can finish this stretch 3-0 heading down to Boone (last game before the bye week) we can have an aircraft carrier load of momentum with conference play coming after the bye..but all that starts with winning this Saturday nightbluejacket wrote:This is not a game on the level of Lehigh, JMU, Coastal, or Richmond, but it is a game that we have to win.I agree with all of this.
