So is Rutgers still on or not?

That appears to be still undecided. My guess is that Rutgers is looking at its other options since we clearly want out. If they can't find anything to their liking, they could hold us to the contract. I say all this without ANY indide information. Just observing from half a continent away.

I kind of want to keep Rutgers on since it is such a good payout. If not then make sure it is someone respectable and not some div 2 team.

I spoke with some of the players a few days ago and I was told that Georgetown had replaced Rutgers...they could be misinformed though

Man, I'd hate to see us back out of Rutgers. Yes, partly for selfish reasons (they're close) but thats such a bad PR move. Here we are, trying to convince the likes of JMU, W&M, ODU, etc to get into home and homes w/ us- that isn't going to help our cause. (I understand Rutgers is 1A and thats a little different situation, the point is commitments are commitments, I think we should honor our word, even w/ a new AD and coaching staff in place that didn't make those decisions.)

I am a little disappointed too. A chance to complete agains't a great 1A team. Great payout. Plus it makes us look bad since we didn't keep our end of the bargain. I am sure Rutgers would think twice before putting us on the schedule in the near future.
