By the 1980's look of it I am not signing up just to troll.
Yaknow, of all the fan smack out there, insulting a guy who pays for a message board out of his own pocket so his school's fan base has somewhere to talk about their team is probably the weakest, most idiotic smack talk I think I've ever heard.

You guys stay classy, and thanks for the reminder of why I stay away from your message board.
So what your saying is that CCU is so small and irrelevant that it can't support it's own forum for it's 25 fans to communicate... So we have more talent on and off the field....

Here’s some numbers

Liberty’s leading rusher is the QB. He’s got 2,040 passing and 840 rushing on the season. Coastal has four players with four players with 330+ rushing yards on the year. Heiligh has 682 yards receiving, Liberty’s leading receiver has 455 yards. Our #2 WR has 432 yards.
Coastal has registered 31 sacks, Liberty 26. CCU has 12 interceptions and six fumble recoveries, Liberty has 10 interceptions and six fumble recoveries.

As it relates to schedules, one site has CCU’s schedule ranked 85 and Liberty’s 112. Another source has us at 110 and Liberty 128. Those are out of 130 teams.

Pay no attention to strength of schedule rankings. I bet every Big 10 school is near the top, when all have played mostly cupcakes. Indiana has won 3 or 4 games, and the media and pollsters act as if the Hooisers are now in the SEC West .

Liberty has four players with 430+ rushing yards if I’m not mistaken. Though we don’t have one dominant WR (we’ve fought injuries there all year) we have six with over 200 receiving yards and have 8 players with multiple receiving TDs on the season. We have a player who is top 10 in the country on total sacks, a player who is top 20 in the country on kickoff return yards, and as you mentioned the leading rushing QB in the country. Not sure what we are sharing all these stats for, but now we both know more!

At least LU could afford green turf and didn't have to buy TEAL turf off of the scratch and dent isle at Big Lots. :P

You could post it ten times in a row and our usually resident geniuses would still take the bait every time.

In all fairness to ball coach, I don’t think he’s ever met an absurd opinion he isn’t willing to debunk. And, to add his own absurd opinion regarding what he’s debunking.

This is going to be the most satisfying win all season. These coastal fans need to be put in their place. Liberty fans congratulating them on the fact that we’re both doing so well in FBS and tons of hate being given in return. Can’t wait for Saturday’s beat down.

The big question I have is - who will win in the trenches.
If Liberty can control the Line of Scrimmage like we did vs. Virginia Tech, we will run all over these guys.
If we struggle to protect Willis like we did vs. NC State - could be a challenge.

Does anyone have insight on how we match up on the LOS?

I’m surprised you weren’t more worried about what uniforms we’re wearing.

By biggest concern is the play of our DE’s on the edge with the Option reads and containment. Johnson has struggled with RPO at times this year. Our LB’s will be challenged as a result with lateral coverage and will need their keys to be clear. This is where I think we have the edge, however. Butler is a film room junkie and you can be certain he has wore out the reels of CCU games to date.

I do think we bring a challenge to their D with what didn’t work against NCS, the interior run and play of our OL. If Willis does what he should with the RPO reads, I think we can give their D fits on the deem seem routes and pulls to the perimeter.
It will come down to QB play ultimately.
