That made no sense. You're an effing idiot.
Maybe it's because it wasn't addressed to you. FLAMESHAW knows what I'm talking about.

Then say it in a PM instead of making us all dumber for having read the bull(word edited due to overzealous RAs like Jarrod Stillings) that you post on a regular basis.

Man, some of these statements go beyond sensitive and thin-skinned and extends into the neurotic.

I guess we all have to agree with the film-guy or run the risk of getting b#*^h-slapped

Oddly enough, there are more than a few alumni & friends out there who are very passionate about the idea that Zach needs to play more and we need a change at QB....

...hopefully, Rocco is listening...

Stop putting this all on Brock, it was a team and coaching loss, not one guy.

ok so i lied i can't let this one go. one more post.

Neurotic to you.... defending the team that represents my University to me. and PLEASE explain to me how we are supposed to consider anything you say as being truthful if you have your head stuck so far up your own rear to even consider that YOU may be wrong. Sly please don't edit this. honestly i have no idea where you got that BS comment from. I support my team in every aspect. i don't sit in front of a computer screen waiting to tick people off just because its fun to watch.

thank you auntie ann for bringing us back to topic.

Unfortunately, it goes with the territory. You have to make the most of the opportunities that you are given.

To not make a change at this point would be negligent.

Rocco will do what's best for the program--that's his job. It's nothing personal.

FilmGuy:

I have no bone to pick with you. Let's just say that we disagree and move on. Apparently, you're content with how things are or you think that they can be fixed---others see it differently. If you want to make it personal, then fine---I'm a jokester, so I can take it

It's understandable that tensions have flared today.

This was supposed to be the "good-to-great season," but we've fallen miserably short, so far.

Right now, this team has serious issues on both sides of the ball that may or may not be corrected this season. Hopefully, it gets done sooner, rather than later.

In my neck of the woods, if you disagree with someone, you simply said so, or state an opposition to the opinion that you disagree with. That's how I approach it... and then the ensuing pile-on. So, call it what you will.

Most of you all, unfortunately, are far too sensitive and easily offended when someone throws something out there that you never thought of before. Oh my, what if it's true

In sports conversations, people may often have opposing loyalties. Does a Redskin fan everthink that a Dallas fan is right?

You guys have been defending an inept passing game for two years now, and then when you can't make sense of it or defend it any longer, you turn around and say, "hey, that guy who is posting stuff that I don't like is rude, arrogant, and ignorant."

I guess it's hard to defend, thus the insults

Do I have strong opinions?--sure I do. However, I could care less who agrees or disagrees with what I'm saying. Why do you care so much :?: :?: :?:
see here is my deal with you...I am admitting to agreeing with you on some things...but you come off as such a "I know all" kind of a person I don't want to associate myself with someone like you....its not your opinions people don't like (we all have different opinions)...its the way you go about it....

Again, I'm just having fun. I really don't mind being wrong. I would have loved to have been wrong about the QB situation and I would love to be wrong and see Jennings get 150 yards against a good D. You guys are reading way too much into what I'm actually saying.

I was wrong with an exchange with FLAMESHAW way back, and CIDER pointed it out....

...I did chuckle at the Skip Blayless comparison... I think it's a stretch, but it's still humorous, nonetheless..

You guys do tend to be more than a little sensitive here. There are alumni & friends who won't join this board for that very reason... and some feel that they've been run off--just for expressing an opinion.... that's sad

Although very flattering, we really need to move on and stop talking about me.

This is suppsoed to be a forum where people can express their thoughts about LU sports.

I wanted the Dunton situation to be accessed after the season. I thought that we had the talent to make a comeback, but it didn't happen that way. Most of the Haters weren't here during his first three years. His follow-up from Hankinson was impressive.

I thought that he had another year, but he apparently needed to put a little more time into his relationship with his AD.

Having said that, it would have been hard to pass on a talent like McKay, even if Dunton's last two years were successful and things were more friendly with Barber. McKay would have been too good to pass on.

DICKENS: If you were critisized, it was because of all of the SLANDERS aimed at his family and his character.......that's inexcusable. I don't care how young you are.

Expectations for this season were obvisouly way too high. Hopefully, this team's problems are fixable, and we make a decent showing at Toledo in two weeks.

Yes. He's been wanting to write off everything to do with our current football program since day 1. I don't think anyone is happy with where the team is right now, but I think he takes it to an extreme that is far from justified yet. How can you write off the entire future of Liberty football based on 1 season plus 4 games? You can't. It's ridiculous to say things like that, even if the current team isn't performing like some of us had hoped.

I just don't understand sounding the death knell on the entire program forevermore. It's an extreme amount of pessimism for someone who hasn't exactly put forth the effort to follow the program or even watch games like a lot of other folks here.

I'll concede that right now the team is in trouble, but I'm not ready to write off Liberty football forever over it.
ah.

My two thoughts:

Too much RJ not enough ZT. IF the coaches feel ZT is the best athlete and most versatile player we have, why was he playing about 10 minutes more then me???

To echo a coach who doesn't get much love here: We still have hope. IF we win the BSC we will still have accomplished something this season.

I guess you guys are never gonna get over that one
Pair-of-sox,

First of all you are a liar or confused. I am in a good mood tonight, so I will give you the benefit of the doubt and just say you are confused, which is believable by anyone who has read more than one of your post.

You have falsely accused me of the RR thing before and I let it go because I knew it was wrong and didn't want to take the time to prove it, but tonight I had a little while between football games. The results:

Thread "Making the case for Dunton" which some clueless poster started (I think you know him quite well) , Jan 21st, page 7, "Who replaces Dunton" thread Jan 7th, and finally "Coaching Rumors Thread" Feb 28th. In each of those threads I said exactly the opposite of what you suggest. My guess is that you got confused when I said "when the sun comes up in the west", you probably took that as a positive answer to a comment made by Cider Jim. Judging that you probably don't realize the sun comes up in the east, it doesn't take a big jump to come up with that possibility.

Now that I have provided proof that you are incorrect, you might want to post the thread where I made the comment regarding Reeves as you contend, or admit you were wrong (you should have plenty of experience at that), and withdraw your comment. If you can find the post (which you can't), where you say I recommended RR to be the men's coach, I will do the honorable thing and apoplgize to you and make a financial contribution to your favotire intramural girls team.

I'll be waiting. :D
