However, there are better ways to go about it than some of the posts I've seen on this board recently. They obviously want to win, it just isn't going their way this year.
There is a difference between wanting to win and wanting to do what it takes to win. Its apparent to me that several of the players don't want to do what it takes to win.

Remember HCTG beat your Vad Lee at QB. Now that they are having a decent year he is our answer, but yet we can't get them (JMU) to return the game from how many years ago.

Yes, we beat JMU, but Vad Lee is still Vad Lee.

It says a lot about Gill that we are four years into Josh Woodrum and we don't have a backup quarterback he can trust or someone we're willing to give the keys to next year.

The fact that he has hesitated to bench the guy who has been his starter during his entire tenure here doesn´t necessarily mean he doesn´t have confidence in Masha. I honestly thing a QB change would have been really hard to justify as long as we were still in the running for a playoff berth. Not so hard now. Also, can´t really blame Gill for Bradwell somehow thinking he could be an athlete without being a student.

Apparently this is how we are supposed to react.

Masha plays, albeit not a bunch but now all of a sudden we don't have someone were willing to give the keys to, in whose eyes are you viewing that. The driver of the 3 car sure did ok against a cpl teams when we needed him to last year, now granted the biggest difference I see is that Masha doesn't have as much game experience as JW that's it.

What I do KNOW is that JW was not supposed to be challenged, because it wasn't supposed to mess with his psyche. So anyone talking about a sense of "entitlement" it should be started there.

One thing I think that surely needs to be address SUPER heavy in the off season is the addition of more and more and then a few more OL. It won't matter who is where if we cant get anything going in the trenches and uproot some people off the ball. Heck we couldn't get the yds needed for the two pt try either, even tho in all honesty they probably should of called another play for Macon, who seems to be the only real person capable of being that short yardage back

I'm still at a loss for words. I don't understand how the same team beat Montana and GSU (on the road) and then loses two road games against weak conference opponents. There's just a whole lot of confusion there.

Also, I think the blame rests with the players and poor execution. You expect your 3-4 yr starters to provide leadership and put the team on their back to pull out wins when you need them to and our guys failed 2 weeks in a row. The only place I can honestly say that I think the coaches played a big role here is if the accusations about the team not taking these games seriously are true (I think Woodrum said it in an interview). If that's the case, the coaches should have been ALL OVER their guys in practice. They also should be a little better at deflating the ego's of some of these kids. Petey running his mouth all the time talking about how great he is then dropping balls in the end zone when he's wide open. Guess the only person who can defend him is himself...? :dontgetit Woodrum... geez man if you saw guys not taking the practice/preparation before your first conference game seriously man up and do something about it. Instead you yourself have a lackluster performance and then call out everyone else except yourself in an interview. And Lunsford... I just don't know.

It will be interesting to see if this team folds now. Now that's is virtually impossible to get us into the playoffs - will this team play for a winning record? I know one things for sure... a lot of people aren't going to come to games to merely see a team with a winning record.
