Alright gang...we did what we had to do...it wasn't pretty today but the running game carried us and now its the conference game that I reckon everyone has had circled since the schedule came out last year, with an outright Big South title on the line

If Buck had to have a stinker, this was a great week to have it occur. Hopefully that is out of his system.

I recognize PC's offense is dreadful, but our D was opportunistic today. I don't want that to be overlooked.

As CSU evaluates our last two games it would seem obvious that their #1 defensive priority will be to stop the run. We will need to throw the ball in order to win. I would really like us to work on our short passing game (bubble screens, quick hitches, quick slants). Buckshot has a real difficult time when he doesn't get rid of the ball quickly. He does not have a good feel for avoiding the rush and extending the play.

What game are you watching? Calvert does a great job sliding in the pocket and avoiding the rush
LU was very vanilla today. Obviously they wanted to run the ball. This the reason there were 2 100 yd rushers
If I were taking a team against LU I would blitz a whole lot with the Freshman QB and see how he handles it. But I think LU has the receivers who can help bail him out

4-0 just win baby! I took my son to the game today. I am so glad they had hills everywhere. Very laid back atmosphere.

On our next to last play, with a first down and no need to do anything but take a knee x2, we ran Mosely up the middle and our starting RT Sam Isaacson got hurt I hope he is OK,

Ernst Anderson, Michael Henderman, Tanner Hartman, Ahrown Campbell, and now Sam Isaacson. Does Dennis Wagner have any eligibility?

I hope the play calling has been watered down the past two weeks to prevent CSU from getting a good look at what this offense is capable of. If not we took two giant steps backwards after the Monmouth game. Play calling seemed limited to me.
