In the past we have had football players join our basketball, track or baseball teams when they needed a little help. In looking at our depth problem in the O-Line maybe we could tap a very unexpected source. Our GOLF team.

Gabe Lench is 6´3¨ 275 and Austen Inman is 6´7¨ 280.

Disclaimer specifically for BJ .............................. This is a JOKE. In no way, shape or form do I think those guys could actually help our football team. I just thought it was unusual and kinda cool that we have 2 golfers that size. Actually, Inman was a basketball all-stater who led the state of NC in rebounding. Maybe Ritchie could use him.

I actually was not thinking about them helping, so the disclaimer wasn't necessary. That said, I have to wonder if they can crush a ball off the tee at their respective sizes

Size isn't everything in that regard. I'm a big dude and I don't hit it a ton because my form and technique suck. I've seen plenty of little guys crush it off the tee. All about hip position, torque and swing plane. That said, the Lench kid is a huge get for Jeff's program. Tremendous player.
