I've never really had the guts to follow through on any dating website. I've looked at a few, but never felt willing enough to pony up the $10-20+ a month to actually get to know someone.

i signed up for plentyoffish the other day ago. the selection on there is, well, disheartening to say the least. plenty of people, but 99% of them are unappealing.

apparently you have to pay for relationships.com as well - now known as christianmingle.com - you can register for free but cant contact anyone, which basically makes the site useless.

i'm not asking for a "hot chick", i dont even want a "hot chick." and yes you can find them on dating websites, my boss found his fiancee on one lol. i've also seen several other decent looking girls on a couple of them, but most of them come across as boring or drunks in their profiles. i don't like just walking up to someone and asking them out, i prefer the friends then dating approach. i'll be damned if I spend money on a woman I don't even know...

i dont fit in at coffee shops, i've tried barnes and noble, for example, it was basically a waste of time. may be some decent looking girls, but most of the people at those things aren't my type of crowd.

It's tough out here to find a nice, QUALITY, CHRISTIAN man to date these days. Of course, for you folks still in school, I think it may be easier b/c you are constantly surrounded by people who have similar interests and goals. For the rest of us, it's like finding a needle in a haystack it seems
