3 months ago, target had a clearence on all their GE a/v cables...i picked up 3 12' optical patches for 7 bucks a piece, 2 hdmi 6' patches for 8 bucks, and 2 component cables for 6 bucks a piece....i felt like i'd found the holy grail..

IMHO, the only reason to use MC's is if you are using a projector in HD, or for broadcasting.

a guy here at work bought a new lcd tv, receiver, speaker system, and upconvert dvd player for christmas....

he dropped a good 3000 on it.

he spent close to 500 bucks on cables and speaker wire....incredulous...i showed him where he could of gotten it for less than 100..

Everyone who's anyone in the home theater field knows Monster has been making their cables from recycled coat hangers for years. It's why they're so durable.

Monoprice.com is definitely the way to go.
