If Obama is nominated, the game is over. The Dems know it, and so does the GOP. There is not much to hammer the guy on compared to McCain and Hillary. Obama is MUCH more dangerous than Hillary IMO. Hillary is always going to have people fighting her. No one knows Obama, and any attack on him will not be viewed favorably from most people. Obama is very liberal and will be popular enough to pass some damaging legislation IMO.
I agree.
I agree with the sentiment, but Obama is beatable. Once you attack his record, you'll chip away at his support.
The only way Obama wins is through the so-called Super Delegates, during the convention. These guys are the party leaders. So -- that means that the "candidate of change" wins by sucking up to the political machine. Meaning -- politics the same. People will be smart enough to realize this.
Also -- latinos don't want to vote for an african-america... and they'll be more than willing to vote for Mccain, who's weak on immigration reform -- and polls show have him as the only one who can beat the Dems.
Obama will be a disaster as President, but his victory (at least in 2008) is no sure thing. What he should do is bow out gracefully (although the time for that may have passed), run for governor of Illinois in 2010 -- and position himself to be the presidential candidate in 2016.
