Make your predictions. Not that Iowa really matters much.

One of my colleagues is one of the primary Democratic organizers in the Iowa Caucuses and I love giving her grief about how cute their little show is.

Prediction in order

Romney
Paul
Santorum
Gingrich
Bachmann
Perry
Huntsman

P.s I love these Santorum supporters. Just the same ones who loved Perry, Cain, and Gingrich 3 weeks ago.

I predict a lot of fried pork fritters!

Santorum
Paul
Romney
.....no one cares!

Those three but the order may change. In the end it will come down to Paul and Romney because......wait for it.......they are the only ones on the ballots of all 50 states. Everyone else, thank you for playing we have lovely departing gifts for you.

If you want, pick 7 candidates in order, and you'll get points for every guess you get right. For example, pick Mitt to come in first, and if you're right you get 7 points. If you pick Huntsman to come in last, and you're right (and of course you will be right), you'll get 1 point.

My list of candidates is above.

You only get to chose from the 7 major candidates. Nobody's voting for Buddy Roemer or Fred Karger.

I blame the media.
And talk radio
And the Bilderburgs in Iowa
And the CIA

Of course there is neither a large Jewish or minority population in the Hawkeye State so he can't blame them in his next news letter written by Lew Rockwell!

I think it was a great showing for Paul. More than doubled his support from the last time in Iowa. Showed that his campaign will continue all the way.

And hopefully for him, confirmed that he should run third party if he does not get the nomination.

Well you know as a far more reasonable supporter, it was his time to shine and it just didn't happen.

Biggest dissappointment was Bachmann.

Romney did what we thought.

Santorum is just another flavor of the month. All of the Gingrich supporters defected to him. In about a month, I guarantee they'll flock to someone else. In two months, Santorum will be out of the race. Write my words down.

And Ron Paul running third party would be an absolute disaster. But he won't anyway. And all the Paul supporters will be mad at me for saying so, but he won't run third party. Watch.

I also think Rick Perry will see a resurgence in the polls.

Newt is probably done.

Why run third party? Unless he just wants to be a perpetual whiner. He has less chance of becoming President as a 3 rd party candidate as he does of winning the Republican nomination.

Here is my main problem with Paul: What has he done? I mean has he ever held a leadership position in the house? What bills did he write and sponsor that passed? Did he lead any successful initiative in the house? I mean I know what he espouses, and I disagree with a lot of it, but there is a difference between an agitator and a leader. I have yet to see proof of his leadership abilities.

Haize, the reason he doesn't hold chairmanships is because the DC RINO's know that Paul stands for principle, not party. He calls out wayward Republicans as much as he does Democrats. So naturally he won't receive goodies from Bohener and Cantor.

One persons RINO is another persons reasonable person. Because they don't like him is just an excuse. He can sponsor and sub,it legislation and work to get it passed without being a committee chairman.
Here are the commities he is on

Representative Ron Paul serves on three Congressional committees.

He serves on:

1.) Committee on International Relations
          o Subcommittee on Western Hemisphere
o Subcommittee on Asia and the Pacific

2.) Committee on Financial Services
o vice-chairman of Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations
o Subcommittee on Domestic Monetary Policy, Technology, and Economic Growth

3.) Joint Economic Committee

What has he sponsored and passed in these committee s? I mean if his baliwic is Finance he is on 2 committees that deal with it, what has he help pass?

Haize, I gotta take the ignorance road and be honest, I do not care what he's done or authored.

Mitt supports have to be happy what's happening. The ghost of Herman Cain is alive and well, and will seal Romney's nomination. The conservatives will split the votes, and Romney will win much like McCain did.

But that is an essential part of leadership, being able to work with people to get things done. He hasn't proven he is capable of doing that.

I'm sick of working with others to get things done. I want victory, and a man who has principals, not some RINO squash like Romney.

Haize you know it's nothing personal it's just how I feel.

But if you can't get anything done, what good are you? This is the problem with Obama. He can't dictate what he wants and is trying to find ways around the will of the people.
You HAVE to find people to work with to move your agenda forward. That is what leadership is about, getting people to work together. He has had plenty of time to show he is capable of leadership. He hasn't.

well, Santorum looks to lock up Iowa. Not what I was hoping, but I will take the top 3 over Obama or any of the others on the republican ticket.

But what better is Romney? He has no political leadership. All his electoral experience has been him caving into the Democrats time after time.

Sorry, I have a problem with "moderate, progressive" candidates.

Romney was a successful governor with a democratic legislature. He did good things, not a fan of the healthcare plan, and if you look at it, the legislature made a bunch of changes AFTER Romney left office. He work as conservative agenda as he could in an incredibly liberal state.
His private and not for profit success is well documented.
Oh yeah, and by the way, the Conservative Flavor of the Month ENDORSED Romney last time around. I think he is a lot more conservative then he is being portrayed.

And the current 37 vote margin is pretty good for a guy who put less time in Iowa then everyone then Huntsman. If he actually WINS is pretty Impressive
