Its a beautiful city amongst the mountains that is way too impressed with itself.

If you are not into salmon, then think Chinese at dinnertime.

Living in Seattle for 9 years, I have to beg a differ. Its gorgeous there. Liberal like no other, and hippie like no other. Where were you trying to eat at after 4 pm? Theres plenty of great places to eat. You have to go to Pike's and see them throw the fish. Amazing seafood. And nothing beats the beautiful atmosphere, the mountains, the sound, the space needle. Love it, miss it like no other.

i've walked 15 miles today looking for a place not named subway, starbucks, seattles best, or a 900 dollar a plate restaurant. watching guys throw a frikking fish, what are you 4? try spending a week in alaska pulling salmon out of 200 ft deep nets and tossing them into a huge crates, that is exciting. yeah the place is beatiful blah blah blah nothing to write home about. these 3 days will definitely be plenty of seattle to last me a lifetime.

On my last trip to Seattle I was told to stay out of the bad half of town after dark. I can't remember if that was the north side, the south side, the east side or the west side. Maybe you should just stay out of the town entirely.

The salmon is fresh out of the sound there in Seattle. That's why it is a must while you are there.

I'm usually on the company nickel when I am up there so I usually eat at the overpriced places.

Pike St. is a fun way to kill an hour or so. Last time I was there with family we bought a king crab and boiled it ourselves in the kitchenette in our room.

As someone who has had to sit though more "FISH! Philosophy" seminars than I care to recall, I think I would beat those guys with a mackerel if I ever saw them in person.

No

Kidding

And I love how the presenter always seems to think no one's ever heard it before and he's sooooooo into it.

But my all time favorite is when a lady cried when she presented a new manufacturing system because it was so good and would revolutionize. I wanted to punch her.
