I know you won't agree, but I see people on both sides trying to make this some kind of political thing.
I probably see more people on the right making it political because the majority of my network leans to the right.
I haven't seen the majority of people I connect with (the center) making it political.
The left is making it very political as well.
I think it depends on how you look at it. Clearly those who support the president tend to trust him a bit more and that this will all blow over sooner rather than later. So they are a bit quicker to snap at those who don't have the same faith. On the flip side, Democrats want the presidency and are unquestionably using this as a way to try to gain ground politically.
If it wasn't an election year then maybe it wouldn't be quite as bad but it's pretty bad.
The good news is the administration is acting more appropriately and there are some pretty smart people on the team so I do have hope but it is far too early to really tell.
I've also been told by someone on here that I don't take a stand on anything, so what do I know?
Oh, most definitely. I've seen folks on the far left talk about every little move by Trump and how terrible it is. And they lose credibility that way. I literally read an opinion piece from calling out Trump for not differentiating between the Alphabet company and Google.
Then the folks on the right who are skeptical of the media thought this thing was a farce to begin with because #fakenews. Many still do and are only accepting it because people they look up to are accepting and acknowledging it.
It's sort of funny to watch both sides lose their minds from a place in the middle.
