I still brown bag it, though the brown bag usually ends up being a plastic WalMart bag.

Today's lunch -- Beefy Ravioli and a diet Citrus Drop. Nutritious!!

Tip for cheap lunching -- mystery shop. http://volition.com has a list of places you can mystery shop for, and you don't have to pay them anything. My wife just got done a round of Arbys shops up here -- four days of free gyros. You get reimbursed, AND paid for your trouble. It's a sweet gig.

I am sorry, but Panera Bread is THE most over rated place in the 'burg. 1/2 Sand and Soup and Drink for 6 bucks + I have never left that place full, always hungry. Granted I am a hefty dude, but when I put down a good chunk of change for lunch, I sort of DON"T want to be hungry afterwards!!!
KYOTO USED to have the best lunch but not sure they are open anymore.
Haven't decided on Lunch today

Couldn't agree more, Brokey (except for the hefty part)!

Kyoto's is now Koto's and their take-out joint on 221 is pretty decent.

Lunch with Boss
OCharleys (Hey HE is paying) We started with a nice chips and salsa ensemble before heading into a real nice course of hot rolls. For course number three, I enjoyed a nice bowl of the potato soup whilst he dined on more bread. The heft of the meal was for me the Chicken Tenders dinner, which unfortunately were over cooked and a bit dry for my taste. However, the fried french potatoes were a succulent cripy on the outside which caused a flavor explosion when consumed. Desert was on the go consisting of a Little Debbie Oatmal Creme Cookie (That was on MY dime!)

Let's see, what all did I have for lunch? Chopped steak, piece of grilled chicken, kabasa sausage, macaroni, green beans, and a few other things. And the high school paid for it.

Are they still open or did they shut down after the lady got robbed and the sexual harassment thing? I know they were closed for a little while (b/c I eat next door at the Mexican place, by far the best place in the burg...i eat there 2-3 nights a week!)

Am I like the only adult in the world who still brown-bags it?

They owned some Chick-Fil-A last I knew (a while ago); don't know if I should post names.
I splurged w/ kids at HomeTown Buffet-$23.?? The younger one goes by 20cents/yr.; my 12yr. old bemoans the fact that he is an adult for purposes of paying for lunch, hair cuts, fairs.... I had too many sweet potatoes, turkey, baked fish, couple fried shrimp, some mac n cheese; made sure kids had some vegs.; I usually get green salad but will make a huge one for dinner tonight (sunflower seeds, croutons-w/out msg, pea shoots....); dessert was peach cobbler and cherry crisp w/ ice cream on top.
