My wife was browsing the internet when she got a suspicious pop-up saying that she had a trojan. I logged on later and noticed several pop-ups about trojans, one coming up about every 20 seconds. The pop-ups were coming from "Alpha-Antivirus" which is something we did not download. I googled it and found it was spyware. How can I remove this?? Thanks!

Get Ad-Aware for a one-time cleaning of spyware.

Next, get a program called "CCleaner". I run the registry & the default cleaner about once a week.

Also, for heavy-duty, as the guy above just mentioned, Malwarebyte's anti-malware is pretty much the best available.
