According to today's Lynchburg paper:

1. Dwayne Carson is promoted to Senior Campus Pastor.
2. Todd Campo moves from LCA superintendent to VP of Student Leadership.

Congrats to both gentlemen as they assume new positions at LU.

Caner never was a Campus Pastor (at least he wasnt referred to by that particular title)

I think what he is asking is if Carson will replace Caner as speaker at Campus Church (or whatever they call it now) on Wednesday nights.

I live in Texas so I am obviously way out of the loop, but wasn't Johnny Moore referred to as campus pastor?

Yes he was...and I dont think anything has been said as to Caner continuing to preach Wednesday night church or not so at this point Im working under the assumption that that will continue to be the case.

According to the article Dwayne will be in charge of the commuter and online students. That doesn't sound like he will be preaching on Wednesdays to me.

I think the article means that he will be able to better minister to commuter and online students in addition to resident students, not that he is going to be in charge of them
