Hey guys,

Ive been in Lynchburg for a long time and I had heard Dr Falwell often talk about his BHAG (which many of us have had the privilege of being a part of).

Well I finally have discovered my own BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal for those who are unfamiliar). Ive been in sports broadcasting in some form or another the last six years and I would like to share some of the things Ive learned with young people. I worked for a woman in Chesapeake one summer named Danene Washington who runs an organization that works with at risk youth teaching them skills in media production as a way to keep them off the streets. That summer I also got to work on updating their radio broadcasting durriculum that they teach in schools.

That being said, I am hoping to starting in the fall, develop a Christian youth sports broadcasting curriculum and be able to teach young people skills in sports media and hopefully help to develop a generation of young people who can go into the sports media realm. Dr Falwell often said that if its Christian it should be better...so Im hoping to do something about that.
