I'd appreciate prayer for me as our family is growing. Found out a few weeks ago that we're expecting in June.

Thanks!

should have countered with "your mom".

Seriously, if we ever get the ff sanctioned tailgate going again somebody will have to bring a moonbounce.

So your wife is going to give birth to a WEST VIRGINIAN? Just make sure that he or she raised a Herd fan and not an 'Eer.

She plans on making sure he/she never knows he/she was born in WV. However, with all the WVU love around here, I root for Marshall just to ruffle feathers.

You can always take your wife across the mighty Ohio to give birth in Belpre or Marietta: that way, the child can grow up a Buckeye fan and love the Reds or the Indians and Bengals or Browns.

She's trying, don't worry. I've never seen someone hate a state so much.

Parkersburg is probably my second favorite town in the whole state (Huntington being my favorite). I can relate, because Mrs. Cider, the Texan, is not a big fan of my homestate of WV.

I don't mind it so much. Perhaps you should have done some more WV cheerleading when she was sitting in your honors classes. :D

Let the record show that I did NOT marry a student. Mrs. Cider is only 6 months younger than I am, and she followed me to Marshall and lived in Huntington for 2 years.

The record is clearly stated. But I have to admit that it would seem some sort of charges could be brought up on anyone forcibly moving someone from Texas to West Virginia ... even from El Paso.
