Well we visited Becky in the hospital tonight and she was resting. Had been kicking some so they had to restrain her which was tough to see her like that. But I did finally get more of a reason for her stomach pain (if there are any MDs or those knowledgable in the medical field on the board they could offer some expertise here). It turns out that she has nerve damage in her stomach which has caused her to have these bouts of pain like she does. Anyway she was resting when I saw her which was good.

Hey my sister went back into the emergency room early this morning. She had a real bad weekend and her stomach pain really was getting to her (sadly she kept the entire house up all night in the process) She is at Sentara Norfolk General as I type this.

Hope she gets better soon. Sentara Norfolk is where I was born (lived in Norfolk my entire life), she's in good hands.

Got some good news just before I left to return to Lynchburg...


My sister was discharged from the hospital last Tuesday night and they are hoping to get her in outpatient psychiatric therapy as soon as possible.

Do pray for my parents...these late nights dealing with her banging on the door when she is in pain are really wearing on them...especially my dad after he gets in from a hard day down at the hospital...they are considering their options right now so wisdom would certainly be needed (and a few restful nights sleep)

It all depends...she has been known to spend all night shrieking and banging the door and kicking the walls and what not...my dad often has to come out and forcefully take her back to her room but often she will be right back out again...the weird thing is she will go sometimes a week or two or three at a time without any problems and then just go off completely one night and keep the whole house up all night...I had to deal with it this last time and I was literally up til almost 4 AM (my dad came to help around 2 and finally took her to the hospital a day later)...my parents think it may be in part a cry for attention because she seems to have two different responses to pain...one response during one of these "episodes" and then one when she is in real pain (like when people literally had to stand on her feet to stop her from kicking everything)

prayed rour sister today. i have a sister that has problems similar to hers. the Lord is able but i know it hurts to her when she is having problems.

Hey guys, my sister is back in the hospital (she was not responsive this morning) She is breathing thankfully but its very slow. When I left the hospital she was going in for a CT scan.

well good news and bad news:

good news: Becky did wake up and was discharged later on in the evening so she is at home

bad news: no real answers as to what caused how she was found this morning and the CT scan didnt help either. She may need some more tests to figure it out

Well I know its been a while since I updated this but I talked to my mom yesterday and my sister is still in need of lots of prayer. She had some neurological tests done to check her progress in recovery since her last coma (in 2008) and she is making some progress in two of the five areas they tested but three of them she isnt making much progress. If you could pray for her complete healing that would be appreciated.
