I could. I am currently set at full time so that I can at least get the one loan I know I have because I was told by somebody that if Im not full time it wouldnt process. What to do from there is what Im working on.

If you could drop a class and add the one you need wouldnt that make more sense rather than try to get others involved such as JJ?



Why do you not want to...are those classes you were just going to be taking for fun or something???

well even with that I would still be short a significant amount. On the plus side I did finish financial check in before they suspended my financial aid so Im not going to be left on the street or living out of my car or something like that. But I will still have to figure out how to pay what I now owe (which is a few thousand dollars)

BJ, you should seriously consider this, there are always ppl looking for roommates. And you're only taking 2 courses, right, this couldn't be a whole lot of $$, could it? (I don't even know what the cost is since my kids have the lca deal) I'm pretty sure you're the one who was so kind to my daughter when she was the lca drum major, I'd be willing to pitch in for your cause

That is definitely a possibility...here is the rub right now. I have a couple loans that thankfully I was able to keep because of the fact that this rule only meant I lost my federal aid. The problem is that I have to be a full time student to keep those loans. If I am not taking at least 12 hours basically I get nothing. About the only way Id be able to move off campus is if I had a place ready to go as soon as I got back next week. I also would need to apply to move off campus as well (that thankfully is the easy part)

Well a quick update:

I emailed my counselor at LU and I will be able to appeal for the return of my financial aid for this last semester. I have the form all filled out and I will be bringing it with me when I return to Lynchburg next week and I already contacted someone about a letter of reference. Pray that I find favor with the appeal committee in financial aid.

I just got a huge blessing today! Even as I am waiting on how my appeal turns out, I just got word that Jerry Jr approved $2000 for me for this semester! God is AWESOME!!!

Yes he is fsu...I had been praying about this and I kept saying to God that I know that this is done and just saying to people that this was settled and I knew I was stepping out in faith with this but God will answer his children when they ask in faith and not doubt
