Our Christian foundation is what makes our university unique. This is the place to bring prayer requests, discuss theological issues and how to become better Champions for Christ.

I have written on here a couple of times to ask questions but had not “visited the chapel” and shared anything as a prayer request. My wife, infant son and I (The Mayo Family) are moving to Lynchburg in June. I will be attending the Seminary as soon as we get settled. Please pray for a couple of things:

1. Pray for me to end my ministry well in Michigan. I am currently serving as a youth pastor and it is always tough to leave kids behind. (Pray for the church as they seek direction too).
2. Pray for our house to sell. The market is REALLY bad and we have not had many lookers.
3. Pray for my wife and I to find work (& child care if needed) in Lynchburg.

I have really been struggling recently about the move as I feel the weight of supporting my family and meeting my financial obligations. Sometimes I feel like the father in Mark 9 who said “I do believe only help me overcome my unbelief!”

Thank you for praying!

You only need one buyer and God is certainly capable of working things out in his timing. Congratulations on taking the big step of faith.
