I wanted to post this on here just because, well, I did.

We've got a pretty good sized group on here that go to Brentwood Church (me, RocketFan, blwall, th3rd, luffg when he was in town, and I'm sure more). A few months ago we kicked off a thing called Freedom 4-24. If you're in Lynchburg, you've seen the stickers on a crap ton of cars.

Basically, Freedom 4-24 is an attempt to get girls out of the sex trade in Thailand. It is a chance to buy a girl out of the bars for one night for $24.

A lot of you probably support missions of all sorts all around the world and that's great. If you're looking for something else to support, or if you have a special place in your heart for this issue, check out www.freedom4-24.com. You can get a t-shirt for $24. Also, there's a link to Red Is White clothing on there. It's a clothing company that has said if we buy shirts from them and put in the code free424 you'll get 15% off of the cost of the shirt and they'll donate 15% of the money to Freedom 4-24.

This was started in Lynchburg, by a girl who goes to Liberty, and it has the chance to impact girls on the other side of the world. At least check out the website when you get the chance.

I'm fighting in town Oct 17th (Homecoming evening) at the Lynchburg Armory specifically to raise money for Freedom 4/24. I'm getting sponsors ($240 each) for a special t-shirt that I'll be wearing and Freedom will be selling at a booth at the event ($24). (The shirts look pretty sweet btw, just waiting on a couple more sponsors before we get them printed up) The goal is to raise $2400+.

EFC has worked out a deal where Freedom gets a % of all tickets that I sell.

Matt Coleman and Jeff Murphy (LU Student) - teammates of mine - heard about what I'm doing and have decided to do something very similar for the Godparent Home (Matt and his wife Jamie got their son Jacob from the Godparent Home).
