Hey guys, I thought Id ask you guys to pray for me. Ive applied for three jobs: 1) the assistant music coordinator with LU athletics (I know that there is a discussion about this one somewhere else on this board) 2) working part time at the new bookstore 3) a full time job as a professional advisor for Liberty.

The bookstore called me and wants to schedule me for an interview as soon as I get back from Urbanna (Im DJing a wedding reception there this weekend) and I have an interview at the Hancock building next Tuesday afternoon. In a new wrinkle to this story, the radio station I worked for last fall wants me to come back and be a lead broadcaster for high school football too

Well the first interview is in teh books and I think it went pretty well. I wont know their decision for up to 2 weeks as they do still have other interviews to conduct but I do think she seemed impressed with my background in radio. I also took a nice bit of advice from a friend and wrote a thank you email to the lady who interviewed me.

Talked to the LU bookstore earlier this evening...I have an interview set for tomorrow morning at 10:30. If you could remember to pray for me at that time that would be much appreciated

Well I had my interview and things looked promising but they had to put my application on hold until September because with my schedule as a freelance writer and as a HS football broadcaster that they couldnt take me on but once they get through this initial rush that comes every fall I can get back in touch with them.

A couple updates:

Things with the Assistant Music Coordinator position didnt work out (they hired someone else) but I will be the voice of EC Glass High School for 104.5 FM and Supertalk 1050 this fall! First game is Aug 28th at 5 PM against Franklin County at Lynchburg City Stadium
