Hey guys,

I just want to say thank you for all the prayers for my family and particularly for my sister. In the midst of all this something amazing just happened to me.

What I never told anyone was the fact that I was dealing with some financial difficulties as it related to returning to LU for the 07-08 school year. I owed about $4000 on my account and had no way of paying for it because the loan company said I needed a cosigner and I could not get one (not my parents, nobody). Well, a couple days ago, I find out that my loan was outright declined because I took too long trying to find a cosigner. Well, the day before, one of the folks at the Student Advocate office suggested I try to reapply for a lesser amount. So after I found out that the first loan was finally declined, I reapplied for a lesser amount, and was approved. So yesterday morning, on my way to work, I start talking to the Lord while merging onto the interstate (with my eyes open of course). I mentioned how cool it would be to get a large credit to go towards taking care of expenses at school, but that I know that He would give me exactly what I needed. So, later in the day, Im at the computer, and I get an email:
Dear Benjamin,

Financial Aid Award Notification

Your 2007-2008 Financial Aid Package is ready for your review at your Asist account.
The rest of the email is unimportant to the story...

Anyway, so I go check out my aid package, and my new loan is posted. Here is the amazing part:

My estimated cost of attendance for 2007-2008: $26,970

My total aid package for 2007-2008: 26,970

Is that amazing or what?

Just one more example of how The Lord works in mysterious ways in our lives.

He promises to supply all of our needs. Apparently the Lord feels you need to be at Liberty.

How cool is that?

Extremely cool Sly. I made a promise to my grandmother while she was on her deathbed that I would finish my degree and I feel like the Lord is working my situation out to allow that to come to pass.
