I was avoiding reading that but holy cow, I could not be any happier with how this monogram has gone over. I'm going to start praying that one day I meet someone who feels this way about it.

also, I think the citizens of this town either need to take a reading class, or a civics class. Mayor doesn't exactly mean Supreme Overlord.

I think its funny that people can think of any problems that need to be fixed in the town...but they focus on the freaking LU monogram....idiots...

I like that they've promised to print some of these comments in the paper. It'll be very interesting to see what they consider printable out of that bunch. (FlameFans.com contributed comments aside, of course. ;))

Correct me if I'm wrong, HMO/Scorchy but don't the city limits end at 460? Isn't the monogram outside the city to begin with?

Good question. I'm not sure where they end over there. I'll have to check it out.

Edit: Actually, the southernmost city limit ends at 460, but it then continues across top of the Candler's Mountain ridge. Yep. Right across the top.

So, basically, any part of the mountain you can see from campus is in Lynchburg?
