I see no basis for the SVP of Spiritual Development having any authority to fire the university's Provost. If that were the case, I would be calling for Liberty to lose accreditation immediately. Nasser's office should have little to no ability to decide who oversees the university's academics, nor should he already carry enough personal influence with TPTB, after just being hired this summer, to get the university's Provost fired. Make no mistake, I think Liberty will be better off without Godwin, but I would be extremely alarmed if Spiritual Development has been given that much power.

You do realize that Staver was responsible for getting the law school started in the first place, right? Also, do you have a source for Liberty being "the worst [law school] in the state," or is that a personal opinion? I don't necessarily disagree, I'm just curious whether that's actually a qualified objective statement/ranking.
