don't know if they have a case against TRBC. but Counsel...
59. Meanwhile, Matthew Staver's acquaintance, Philip Zodhiates, and his daughter Victoria, an assistant in the Law School knew of Lisa Miller's whereabouts and solicited donations from other Law School employees for her aid. Upon information and belief, other law school employees who spoke to Victoria about Lisa Miller's whereabouts were too intimidated to come forward to law enforcement for fear of angering Dean Staver and losing their jobs. During the time that Lisa and Isabella were missing, Dean Staver fired several members of the admissions and financial aid department who were under his supervision. To this day, Victoria Hyden is still an employee of the law school, even though her tortious conduct involving Isabella Miller-Jenkins has been in public court records for over a year. Also, while Lisa Miller and Isabella were missing, Lisa Miller's attorneys continued to press appeals on Lisa Miller's behalf until the last appeals were exhausted in November 2010 (more than a year after she was missing), stating that they had advance instructions from Lisa Miller as to her wishes for the ongoing litigation.
great job Staver.:clapping  seriously can Jerry cut ties with this guy already?

I know but i cant see anything good coming from this. The pastor was recently found guilty and charged and according to court documents (which is found on the lefty site) they have phone records and emails between staver, the trbc elder, and a couple liberty counsel employees.

maybe a couple of legal experts can shed some light on this?

I only post facts Mr. Williams, welcome to reality. Keep drinking the Kool-Aid but if it comes out that the information I posted about him over a year ago was correct, are you going to apologize Doubt it, so shut the heck up if your just going to call me a hater without anything to back it up.

The attorney for the Va pastor that was just found guilty of helping Miller is a friend, LU graduate, and great guy Josh Autry. I was hoping for an acquittal for Josh's sake, but oh well, he is a good attorney and will do all he can for his client.

Personally I dont give a flying hoot about the guy (heck Ive never met him) or about all this. All I have to go on is the stuff you post and when 99 percent of it is negative, what else am I going to call you?

well it was pretty unnecessary.

I will say this though, if he did anything illegal, it'd be crazy to keep him as the Dean. Especially since I haven't really heard any bragging about the program's success since that first class. If there's something to brag about at LU, bragging will occur.

I also know Josh Autry. Really smart guy. I didn't know he was the lawyer in this case.

Yeah, it's not like he worked for the Moonies or anything. We would never hire someone to a position of authority who did THAT,

i wont tell my gf, but Josh is the best young attorney I know. Very smart. His argument in this case was pretty good too.

Making the front page of Right Wing Watch can't be good for our FBS chances. No Presidents will want to see that no matter how much we bring to the table. Is it possible to fulfill our mission without pissing off the extreme left?

google has a lot more than RWW. Attack substance, not source. You're logic compares to someone saying: "you can't rely on the Bible, because it is the Bible."

Plenty of people seem to be fulfilling the great commission without making the cover of RWW. Reading some of the other headlines, I don't want Liberty to be associated with much of what I'm reading...and I'm not just reading the RWW commentary, I'm reading what conservatives actually said.

Like this one for example - http://www.rightwingwatch.org/content/a ... o-shooting

Liberal churches share a responsibility for Colorado? Really? That is the kind of garbage that makes us look like idiots. I don't care how conservative churches are, as long as people have free will you'll have Colorado type massacres, and there's one person to blame and that's the shooter himself. Are liberal churches to blame for Tech? Columbine? Texas? Waco? Etc?

17th century New England had enough "fear of God" to go around with seconds and thirds for everyone. How did the Salem Witch Trials work out for them?

This thread has taken a weird turn. It's getting so hard to actually talk about anything on here.

My apologies for making things political, logic, but they are left wing kooks. There is no debating or arguing with them. You will never change their minds.

Okay, never mind, back to the case.

Here was my line of thinking, not sure why anyone is confused -

ballah09 wrote:I know but i cant see anything good coming from this.

True. Then I got to thinking about FBS of course, and moving up, and how we can pretty much all agree that FBS Presidents like our athletics but not our politics. I then concluded that making the cover of RWW cannot be good for our FBS chances or our university as a whole. I then questioned the legitimacy of doing things that warrant mention on the RWW website, noting that plenty of people are fulfilling the same purpose we are, and not making RWW in the process.

Do we really want to be associated with the stories on that website? Left wing kooks or not, the "substance" they report on as you say is right there, taken right from the mouth of the conservative. I then used an example from the site, where conservative types were saying liberal churches deserve blame for the Colorado massacre because they aren't preaching the fear of God???

Now tell me, why would we want to be associated with any of that? Dickens, of anyone, you should be the first to understand that.

well if you read CSNbbs or any other site the number one reason people don't want Liberty is because they don't want to be associated with the Liberty Counsel, they say and do stupid stuff that usually brings Liberty negative attention. I kind of agree with Logic  i wouldnt really want to be linked a fundamentalist group.

and TH, i don't know how they are being attack they got caught doing something ILLEGAL. Family Council, yeah they did nothing wrong but LC, nope.

Please, we're in the majority here in America. We have it easy. Christians in Iran, N. Korea, etc... are the ones who need tough skin.

As for what happened at FRC, it is a tragedy and I am thankful no one got killed. It could've been a lot worse.
