Felt it here in BoCo too. Knocked a few things off the wall, but none shattered. Don't see any wall damage. Feeling a few aftershocks, but not too much.

Make that as far south as Charleston, SC...my office building swayed for about 20 seconds (I'm on the 4th floor).

I felt it here in western NC.

I heard something shaking and I thought it was my dog behind the chair scratching
looked, no dog and then I noticed my book case rattling
and I thought there must be a big *$% rat underneath it.
Then my girlfriend called and said did you feel the earthquake.

It seemed like some people who were outside didn't really notice it, but people in a building or parked car did. And a ton of people, including myself, weren't able to make or receive calls on their cell phones.

Great first day of school for my girls!

Cousin in Ontario Canada posted that she felt it up there. The ice cracked on the lake outside her building. :D

Yeah, it's much harder to feel them (or realize you are feeling them) when you are outside. I lived about 30-40 miles from SanFran at the time of the 1989 World Series quake. I was outside at football practice and didn't feel a thing. My parents were there to pick me up 5 minutes later and said the house shook for a good 20-30 seconds, knocked some pictures off the wall, etc.

I thought I was getting the shakes from not having lunch. It was a pretty weird feeling.

We felt it here in Roanoke. 3rd Floor of a federally constructed building, not my first choice of where to be in an earthquake.

Send it to Fox News as fast as you can! They're begging for any pictures of the catotrophic damage!

All kidding aside, this was much more powerful than the famous "cave spring earthquake" we had in Roanoke in 2008. Or 09.

I'm sitting here thinking I have vertigo when MrsPA calls and asks if I felt the earthquake

glad I'm not crazy, or crazy but at least no inner ear infection
You and me both brother. There was a lot of rumbling downtown here in Philly. We r by the courthouse and this old building was rocking! It was right after lunch and at first I thought nit was because I ate down at the Market!
What I found odd was I had a student call me and say they were evacuating the schools and a phone call from LCS saying school was proceeding.

I was on the second floor on Campus North (now known as Green Hall). The walls in the office seemed to shake for about a minute. One lady braced herself in a door frame immediately and said, "I used to live in California, and this is an earthquake, I'm telling you!" Everyone else thought it was just construction work since so much tearing down and building up is still going on around here.

Thankful no one is hurt and that all is still standing. Never experienced anything like that before!

I was watching 2012 when my house starting shacking, things started falling off the shelfs and my dogs started going crazy. I had to walk outside to see if Jesus had come back :)
