Ive walked through the courtyard and seen all sorts of things, couples lying in the grass next to each other, people watching movies, every so often there is actual studying going on too

depending on how close they were, Im not sure this is the same thing. Its natural for couples to hang out and watch movies, and I think some of what you described comes with the territory of LU's rules and limiting where couples can be.

Its not like people on here are complaining about couples that actually go on dates, thats normal. Were talking about the people who are too infatuated with one another to keep their hands off eachother 24/7

Some of it does come with the territory, but I've also seen pretty weird stuff like that too. I mean is it really necessary to drag your furniture out onto the sidewalk so you can cuddle up under a blanket when it's almost freezing at nights and watch a movie on your laptop when you could just go to the third floor of DeMoss or somewhere like that and be more comfortable?

That being said, if you do find a girl that isn't any of the other three, you better hold onto her like she is the Hope diamond.

That's what I did.

Strangely, there was a girl there in my time whose name really was Hope Diamond. Had a brother on campus named David who still works at LU, I'm pretty sure.

But more to the point, I'd like to know how many posters in this thread are venting their frustrations, and are still single???

Ok I was thinking back to the original thread with this one...what about when they practically build their schedules so that they are in the same classes together or one of them actually changes their major so they can take the same classes together (This does not apply to people who meet who happen to have the same major...I know one of my old RAs was a nursing major and he met another nursing major...they are now married and will be moving to Richmond after the semester)

I wanted to find that thread the other day because I could have sworn that I saw the girl from that original couple with a new boyfriend, but wasnt sure. The search feature wont find that thread, and I wasnt even sure it still existed, I thought SJ had to delete it after the whole mess with the Dean.

Anyways, not really having to do with a couple, but anyone else know like 3 or 4 people who only like girls that already have boyfriends, and then they spend a semester trying to get the girl to break up with the guy, and the rare times it happens, she dates someone else?

O they are definitely out there, bro. Actually, not to get into much detail, that happened to me this semester. Some guy was hitting on my gf for a little while now, and just recently she broke up with me to be with him. So ya there are a few of them around campus.

because the third floor is not made for that. the third floor actually serves academic purposes, not hang out purposes. the second floor of the ILRC has already been taken over by people who dont want to do work, leave the third floor alone for those of us who do try and study. I dont care to have to watch people on dates while im trying to study
