Even as an avowed St Louis Rams fan, it was a definite privilege to meet Dexter Manley, Brian Mitchell, Art Monk Darrell Green, Joe Jacoby (one of the Hogs) and Mark Mosely at Celebrate America yesterday. Those are some pretty awesome guys and Art Monk and Darrell Green were pretty cool at TRBC yesterday as well.

Dexter is back up in DC? Hopefully DG is helping to keep Dex on the straight and narrow.

Did anyone get Dexter Manley's autograph. Just curious if he signs his name now or still uses the "x".

If you two had read the rest of my post, it said I'm sure another location could be found.

I think there needs to be a certain set of rules about what can and can't go onto the football field. I mean it was expensive if I recall. Like this looks bad. I'm sure it's not ruined, but it can't be good for it.

What could have done that? Oh I see.

If I was Rocco or Barber, I'd be ticked.

All that is is the extra rubber. If you would've seen it after Danny Rocco Camp last week you would've said the same thing. All it takes to be back in perfect working order is brushing it the right way. What you guys didn't see was back in May they went over it again with the same sand/rubber mixture that they did back when it was first installed so it's got extra rubber/sand in it right now which causes the black streaks.

I got some shots during the fireworks that night. Im no pro and these were with a simple digital camera but I think they came out alright. Getting the timing just right with a regular digital camera was a challene for sure:

I do. It was a challenge angling the camera up to catch the fireworks at their highest point and keep a steady shot.

In case anybody missed the festivities I uploaded a couple of pictures I took. I'll spare you the full set. (Really I'm just making myself look good by only posting the ones that turned out good)

Really not that many...Id say of the 16 stills I got I would say 3 maybe 4 were really steady. I was shooting with my Sony Cybershot and I think Id of gotten better shots if I had a tripod or some way to steady the camera while I had it angled toward the fireworks. I had a better go of things when I got video
