For me it is just the message that is sends: SGA sponsering a speed date to raise money for a memorial to Jerry during CFAW says

1. SGA, the supposed school leadership is promoting dating for money
2. We can't think of a better way to raise money to memorialize our late chancellor and founder?
3. CFAW? Parents send your kids here and we will make sure they hook up before they leave
4. Why don't we just run a prostitution ring to raise money?
5. That MRS degree is way better than than the BS degree

HAHAHAHAHA. wow. That is funny. Coming from a female, it is neither disgusting, demoralizing OR degrading (nice use of that alliteration by the way..) it is a social event to get students to meet new people while it just so happens that it is raising a MINIMAL amount of money for a good cause (lets be honest, college kids+all you can eat pizza+5 dollar only=not a big profit) I seriously can not believe the places you allowed your head to go with this. I think its a great idea, and as a SWF, maybe i'll just give it a shot
