I just hate people being happy at someone losing their job. Has he made mistakes? I have no doubt he has, including this recent situation. That said, I'm sad to see him go. I was the same way when Dr Windsor left. Yeah he wasnt in the same position Dr Godwin was in, but still I enjoyed my interactions with him. If you have a problem with him, that is at least a little understandable, but I cannot agree with being happy to see someone lose their job. THAT is what the "klootzakken" was for

He resigned, he wasn't fired. He has plenty of money. And if he wants another job the good Reverends Moon or Hinn will hire him. Or he can work with Liberty Bible Institute or whatever it's called and print more diplomas! He will be fine. As for your anal fascination with ballsacks....that IS a quandary.

Were you able to find employment? I don't remember reading an update about that situation. Not trying to be snarky at all, but someone without a job probably shouldn't be making weekend trips when their marriage is on the line due to financial issues.

From where I sit and things I am hearing, the resignation wasn't his idea. Regardless of what the truth is, I believe it is a positive step for the University.

Whether he 'resigned', 'was asked to resign', or told 'his services were no longer needed', I'm pretty sure at this point in his career, he's doing okay financially. I actually thought this would have happened way before now, and I agree, it's a positive step in the right direction, as was JM moving on (but I don't think the two situations are related).

We can still hope that his resignation was just not effective immediately. Perhaps he did resign, but pending the installation of a new provost.

If it does turn out to be a completely false rumor, I too will be sorely disappointed.
